Fireplace Deep Cleaning:
The gas fireplace is completely dismantled, down to the last component (except the gas train and other vital components), and each piece is thoroughly cleaned. All debris is vacuumed out of the exposed burner area and lower cabinet. The pilot assembly, gas orifices and burner ports are stripped of soot and other deposits/blockages. Then, the glowing embers (rock wool) are refreshed. The glass is cleaned, and the entire unit is reassembled. next, the pilot light is lit, and the fireplace is tested for proper functionality. Lastly, the gas pressure and air shutter setting are fine-tuned for optimal performance.
Gas Fireplace Annual Service:
The glass and logs are removed and cleaned. The firebox chamber is vacuumed and old embers removed. The pilot assembly is cleaned. New rock wool embers are placed on the burner. Then, the logs and glass are installed. Lastly, the pilot light is lit for the season and the fireplace tested for proper functionality.
